Social Tennis: Our resident tennis coach, Shayne Tabb, will meet you at the court to play singles and doubles.  All are welcome.  Meeting point: Tennis courts, from 15:30 to 17:30 hrs.

Monday, 21st December

Tai-Chi: Complimentary class with Alfredo de Miguel, who will teach you a therapeutic form of exercise with proven benefits. Meeting point: Front lawn at 11.00 hrs.

Tuesday, 22nd December

Traditional lighting of our Christmas tree: 17.00 hrs. This event will be accompanied with a puppet show followed by carols sang by the children of Deià. We will serve hot chocolate, “crespells” and mulled wine.

Wednesday, 23rd December

Excursion to Cala Deià: at 11.00 hrs along the donkey path.

Wine tasting in El Olivo: at 16.00 hrs. Our sommelier will help you choose your wine for your Christmas Eve dinner.

Show cooking: Demonstration by Guillermo Méndez, Executive Chef of El Olivo, on how to prepare a dessert followed by a sweet wine tasting. Meeting point at 16.00 hrs in El Olivo kitchen. Please kindly confirm in advance with reception.

Thursday, 24th December

Yoga / Pilates / Stretch Class: Start your day with a complimentary class from our personal trainer Jeanne Lurie. Perfect to balance body and mind and to enjoy optimum well-being. Meeting point at 11.00 hrs by the Indoor Pool.

Christmas cocktail: The management invites you to a glass of cava at 19.00 hrs. Santa will visit us! We all hope to meet you there!!

Gala Dinner in El Olivo: Our chef Guillermo Mendez has elaborated a gastronomic menu for this special occasion. The price per person is 160 €.

Midnight Mass: at 23.00 hrs in Deia´s Church, followed by hot chocolate & “ensaimadas” in the church square. Don’t miss this traditional Mallorcan event.

Christmas Lunch in El Olivo Restaurant: We offer a succulent 5 course celebration meal. The price per person is 150 €.

Christmas Dinner in El Olivo Restaurant: Our Chef and his team have elaborated a tasting menu for the occasion. The price per person is 150 €.

Saturday, 26th December

Walk & Talk: Cecilie Sheridan, artist and curator of the hotel’s Collection, will take you around the village and introduce you to local artists who have studios in Deià while giving you some local history on the place and its people. Meeting point at reception at 11.00 hrs.

Christmas Market at La Residencia: One more year La Residencia, together with the village of Deià, is organising the Christmas market selling Mallorcan products and handcraft. You will find goods such as pastries, Mallorcan wines, jewellery, ceramics... and a lot of products that will help you discover our customs and traditions.
The market will be open from 11.00 to 17.00 hrs.
