Master Classes

Alan Hydes, Artist in Residence at the hotel, is available every day to offer art classes to our guests between the months of March and the end of September 2010.  This is a fantastic opportunity to see an artist at work and to try your hand at drawing or painting under the instruction of an in house professional.

Clases can be sheduled between 10.00 and 13.00 and 15.00 and 18.00 hours. 

A group class will be 80 euros for 3 hours.
Individual tuition will be 150 euros for 3 hours.

Alan Hydes is a qualified lecturer, having worked as a tutor in several UK universities.

Our local ceramic artist, Joanna, will hold a lecture on ceramics every week. During this two hour presentation, Joanna will demonstrate various processes and how the ceramic object is created from start to finish.

If you want to get your hands dirty, and are spending a few days with us, we can make arrangements for some hands-on time with the clay. Guests will need several days subsequent to the class to allow your creation to go through the firing process.
